About CalorieMetrica
CalorieMetrica is a free nutrition calculator ecosystem built for Pakistani, South Asian, Middle Eastern and global users who want simple calories, macros, fasting, recipes and meal-planning tools.
Our mission
Most global trackers are powerful, but many South Asian users still struggle with roti, daal, biryani, chai, suhoor, iftar and common local portion sizes. CalorieMetrica focuses on culturally familiar foods, beginner-friendly tools, and fast web access without signup.
Who CalorieMetrica helps
CalorieMetrica is designed for weight loss, muscle gain, maintenance, Ramadan planning, gym diets and everyday food awareness. Results are educational estimates and should not replace medical advice.
Editorial and nutrition review approach
CalorieMetrica nutrition estimates are created for educational use and checked against standard food composition references, published dietary guidance, common recipe patterns and regional serving-size assumptions. Because home recipes, restaurant portions, oil quantity, ingredient brands and cooking methods can change calories and macros, every result should be treated as a practical estimate rather than medical advice.
Our goal is to make South Asian, Middle Eastern and global nutrition information easier to understand for everyday users. For medical conditions, pregnancy, eating disorders, diabetes, kidney disease, PCOS or any clinical diet plan, please consult a qualified doctor or registered dietitian before making major diet changes.
Who operates CalorieMetrica
CalorieMetrica is an independent, self-funded web project. It is not owned by a supplement brand, diet company or food manufacturer, and it does not accept payment to change nutrition values or recommendations. The site earns nothing from the foods it describes, which lets us describe them honestly β including when a popular dish is simply high in calories.
How our content is produced and reviewed
Every food page follows the same editorial process: values are compiled from standard food composition references and published recipe data, cross-checked against regional serving-size norms (roti, katori, plate, cup and bowl portions), and expressed as ranges rather than false-precision single numbers. Pages carry a "Last reviewed" date, and we re-check values when readers report discrepancies. Details of the formulas behind our calculators are published openly on our Methodology and Formula Explanation pages, and the references we rely on are listed on our Data Sources page.
Corrections
If you find a value, ingredient or description that looks wrong, please tell us through the Contact page. Verified corrections are applied to the page and noted in our Update Log.
